On the afternoon of Saturday 5 April a small group of pilgrims who will walk the Ignatian Camino in May 2014 gathered at Campion Centre of Ignatian Spirituality in Kew for a training walk.   Day packs, water bottles, boots, socks to avoid blisters and so on were compared. After  we talked about our gear, Helen Lucas led us in the Pilgrim Song. Then we set off on a three-hour walk around the Yarra River stopping for  coffees at the Fairfield Boat House. The afternoon was clear and quite humid, but we all enjoyed the walk.
